Bitter almond cuts through it with its unmistakable marzipan-like brightness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt the center are Criollo cacao pods with their fermented fruit, cured in house: not simply chocolate, but cacao as fruit and fermentation — winey, pulpy, tannic, dark and faintly wild.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAround them, Pemba clove bud, Maluku nutmeg and Jamaican allspice create a dense aromatic halo, while black and yellow gingers bring heat, freshness and the living character of rhizome.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe result is gourmand in the oldest sense of the word: \u003cstrong\u003evanilla bean, cacao fruit, almond, spice cabinet and fermentation rather than pastry or sugar.\u003c\/strong\u003e Warm, dark, aromatic and resinously edible.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003enotes:\u003c\/strong\u003e vanilla pompona, bitter almond, Criollo cacao pods with fermented fruit cured in house, Pemba clove bud, black ginger, yellow ginger, Maluku nutmeg, Jamaican allspice.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePhotos: my in house Criollo cacao absolute; solid perfume in 5ml and 10ml black violet glass jars; liquid perfume in 5ml and 10ml black violet glass roller ball bottles.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003er a w ☽•☾ m a t t e r\u003cbr\u003eWild Veil natural perfumes are composed by me, Abby, using homemade, wildcrafted and organic aromatics in Vermont. Natural perfumes are dynamic and take a minimum of 2 hours to reach their final stage, or dry down.
