Tuberose, gardenia, vanilla. Need I say more? This simple but exquisite composition was designed by my stepdaughter London. She chose two of her favorite florals-- tuberose and gardenia-- and paired them with vanilla. The richness of the two florals balanced by a single base note that could match them in both depth and complexity (vanilla) encapsulates the dual intensity and restraint of her personality. She selected the gardenia and tuberose enfleurage vintages, as well as the tuberose absolute that we used to boost that flower (her absolute favorite). All extracts are in house. Londonflower is available in solid and liquid forms. The liquid is set in my enfleurage extraits (organic ethanol) of tuberose and gardenia and my aged Vanilla planifolia and Vanilla tahitensis tinctures (organic ethanol). The solid is set in my enfleurage corps of gardenia and tuberose, a luscious textural butter with a blend of melt in your mouth brown sugar and dark molasses colored in house vanilla absolutes.

Wild Veil natural perfumes are composed by me, Abby, using homemade, wildcrafted and organic aromatics in Vermont. These include my handmade enfleurage, tinctures, enfleurage extraits, absolutes, resinoids and concretes, and floral waxes. I spend as much time growing plants and foraging as I do composing perfumes.

The best way to experience a natural perfume is to apply it to well-moisturized skin, without rubbing in (absorption only shortens the wear time of fragrance) and without scrubbing off. Natural perfumes are dynamic and take a minimum of 2 hours to reach their final stage, or dry down. Enjoy the alchemical changes as they unfold from the initial intensity of top notes, to the warmth of the heart, to the depth of lower base notes.
