I'm so happy to be able to bring you my single note balsam fir perfume at a lower price point. It is made exclusively with in house Abies balsamea extracts (both absolutes and resinoids) from various vintages, all from the old growth Vermont forest at my home. The first vintage is an absolute from 2017 and the latest is from 2024. Ranging from deep and resinous, to young, fruity and spicy, this perfume will connect you with the spirit and aromatic resonance of balsam fir. The sap of balsam fir is considered of the highest arboreal vibration, so this is much more than a "Christmas tree" scent.

Nutty, stirring, sweet green resinous, and balsamic are some of the notes in deep, aged extracts of Abies balsamea sap, boughs and needles collected in spring from the old growth Vermont forest at my home. The branches infuse the organic ethanol with a develop a complex, Christmas tree liquor aroma. This is a scent for winter, dark months, and inspiration. Like my other handmade conifer absolutes, its profile is rich and distinctly nostalgic. Organic.
Wild Veil's Vermont Fir Balsam Absolutes are natural perfume ingredients made using the old methods of long term tincturing in plantbased, high proof alcohol (food grade ethanol), followed by gentle evaporation to preserve the top notes.

Wild Veil natural perfumes are composed by me, Abby, using homemade, wildcrafted and organic aromatics in Vermont. These include my handmade enfleurage, tinctures, enfleurage extraits, absolutes, resinoids and concretes, and floral waxes. I spend as much time growing plants and foraging as I do composing perfumes.

The best way to experience a natural perfume is to apply it to well-moisturized skin, without rubbing in (absorption only shortens the wear time of fragrance) and without scrubbing off. Natural perfumes are dynamic and take a minimum of 2 hours to reach their final stage, or dry down. Enjoy the alchemical changes as they unfold from the initial intensity of top notes, to the warmth of the heart, to the depth of lower base notes.
