This soliflore is a study of Socotra’s frankincense in three forms—not blended for sweetness or smoke, but arranged as structure. From prized 7 year in house tinctures of fresh resin from Socotran endemics: Boswellia socotrana, Boswellia nana and Boswellia elongata.
Boswellia socotrana rises first: sun-warmed limestone and luminous resin, a vertical presence that brings gentle citrus brightness and mineral warmth.
Boswellia elongata follows as a boundary—woody-green sap, dry stone, and wind-washed resin spreading laterally, grounding the composition and giving it quiet shape.
Boswellia nana weaves through everything as absence rather than mass. Pale, chalky, and nearly skeletal, it thins the air, softens sweetness, and leaves space where scent usually insists.
There is no incense smoke here.
Only resin breathing through stone.
On skin, this frankincense unfolds slowly: mineral light, dry sap, and finally a hush—warm stone, clean air, and memory lingering closer than perfume.
