I'm so happy to bring you one of my most requested soliflores. This is a soliflore for which there is no other equivalent on the market at the time of release. Plumeria (frangipani) is a difficult to extract flower, with a subtle scent despite its mischaracterization (much like gardenia) in synthetic representations of fragrances, body creams, and lotions that populate the cosmetics and personal care landscapes. In enfleurage it comes out as a soft and creamy middle to base note, and many are in fact anosmic to it, leading to disappointment. Here I have combined in house enfleurage along with more powerful in house absolutes and enfleurage extraits to produce a powerful soliflore from over 50 individual plumeria cultivars I grow here in the perfume gardens. These species include Plumeria alba, obtusa (the famed Singapore Graveyard Flower rarely seen in the states), pudica, and rubra. I personally selected each cultivar based on a matrix of unique and strong aromatic genetics. The result is the equivalent of a "mis en bouteille au château" single note plumeria perfume, where the plants were note only grown in house but extracted by the perfumer therein, and prior to that, selected by the perfumer exclusively based on aroma.

Wild Veil natural perfumes are composed by me, Abby, using homemade, wildcrafted and organic aromatics in Vermont. These include my handmade enfleurage, tinctures, enfleurage extraits, absolutes, resinoids and concretes, and floral waxes. I spend as much time growing plants and foraging as I do composing perfumes.

The best way to experience a natural perfume is to apply it to well-moisturized skin, without rubbing in (absorption only shortens the wear time of fragrance) and without scrubbing off. Natural perfumes are dynamic and take a minimum of 2 hours to reach their final stage, or dry down. Enjoy the alchemical changes as they unfold from the initial intensity of top notes, to the warmth of the heart, to the depth of lower base notes.
