The woods are alive with the sound of his screams. Mountains bleed, poplar buds cry red tears, and sage waves the scent of disdain. That red spruce tree he climbed up into got mad at his spying. He really crossed the line with the woman disguise and now the god of insanity and vegetation has given him just enough rope incense to hang himself with. But let's be brutally honest here. Instead, Dionysus merely asks his members to dismember him. Pop his head off and put it on a stick with spruce moss still in his hair like all the other dying conifers. "That costume did the trick, after all. Mom barely recognized me," are his last thoughts as his head drips down the pike. Mom It's Me Pentheus is a misrecognition fragrance set in organic alcohol.

Wild Veil natural perfumes are composed by me, Abby, using homemade, wildcrafted and organic aromatics in Vermont. These include my handmade enfleurage, tinctures, enfleurage extraits, absolutes, resinoids and concretes, and floral waxes. I spend as much time growing plants and foraging as I do composing perfumes.

The best way to experience a natural perfume is to apply it to well-moisturized skin, without rubbing in (absorption only shortens the wear time of fragrance) and without scrubbing off. Natural perfumes are dynamic and take a minimum of 2 hours to reach their final stage, or dry down. Enjoy the alchemical changes as they unfold from the initial intensity of top notes, to the warmth of the heart, to the depth of lower base notes.
