Swamp Cypress and Poplar Bud Incense ☽•☾
Loose incense blend of wild bog botanicals, collected and processed by me. Includes swamp cypress boughs (Thuja occidentalis) and poplar buds (balsam, cottonwood, black), both gathered from stands in our old growth Vermont forest and cured. I crumbled the cypress leaves and branches before laying post-tincture poplar buds over the bed of evergreens to infuse and dry. This simple blend is rich and resinous, with notes of labdanum, church incense, coumarin, and sage.
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE: loose incense measured out into a 1 oz tin, which is perfect for storing and further aging your incense, should you so desire. This incense is best used on an electric incense heater where the delicate notes are not overtaken by smoke.
