"Attar of Roses” Scented Geranium, open pollinated in the organic Wild Veil Perfume Gardens on our De Luz site. The rosiest of the scented geraniums, Pelargonium capitatum, is a heavy bloomer and fulfills your rose garden dreams with her rose jam scented foliage. “Attar of Roses” regularly sells out at nurseries early in the spring. It is a must have for the perfume garden, high in aromatic oils. A lovely incense or potpourri can be made from spent leaves, flowers, and seed capsules, whole or ground.

The scent of our “Attar of Roses” is singular because of the rare confluence of three soils found on our property: black volcanic, red volcanic, and decomposing granite.

Plant in well-draining soil with full sun. Hardy to zone 10 outdoors but can be overwintered indoors in cooler climates.
